The Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home provides specialized care and support services to the children in the state of Indiana.

The Home is a residential and educational facility providing benefits and opportunities to prepare children to meet the challenging future.

The staff of ISSCH provides care for the State of Indiana youth in a residential setting.

ISSCH is state-owned and operated. It is governed by legislation enacted by the Indiana State General Assembly. In addition to the support received from the state of Indiana, other supporting organizations play a major role in the welfare of the Home.

The Home is aligned with the Indiana State Department of Health and is considered one of the "Special Institutions."
